‘YELLOW BIRD’:                                                               

Rum (Light or Dark)   300 ml

Crème de Banane        75 ml

Galliano                         75 ml

Orange Juice               600 ml

Pineapple Juice           300 ml

 

‘COSMOPOLITAN’:                                                                  

Vodka                            500 ml

Cointreau                      250 ml

Cranberry Juice            500 ml

Lime                                Dash

‘GRIOTTINE ROYALE’:                                                     

Cherry Brandy or Crème de Cerises            100 ml

Cherry Juice                                                     200 ml

Sparkling Wine                                                750 ml

Griotte                                                               1 per glass

Poinsettia Cocktail     

These quantities will make 1 jug

  • 500ml             Cranberry juice
  • 125ml             Orange liqueur (eg Cointreau)
  • 1 bottle           Sparkling wine                                           Mix; chill and serve!

Dry Bronx

These quantities will make 1 jug

  • 250ml             Gin
  • 250ml             Dry Vermouth
  • 750ml             Orange juice
  • Ice                                                                                                Mix and serve

Borni

These quantities will make 1 jug

  • 250ml             White Rum
  • 50ml               Crème de menthe
  • 750ml             Lemonade
  • 330ml             Lemon sorbet
  • Mint leaves                                                                                  Mix and serve

Mojito

These quantities will make 1 jug

  • 25                    Mint sprigs
  • 250ml             golden rum
  • 100ml             Fresh lime juice
  • 50ml               Sugar syrup
  • Soda water    to top up                                                              Mix and serve

Mulled Wine

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 1 small glass Brandy (sherry glass size)
  • 1  cup sugar
  • 2  cups water
  • Half a lemon  -both juice and rind.
  • 4   cloves
  • Half a cinnamon stick broken up
  1. Put water, sugar, lemon juice and spices in a large pan. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat; add the thinly sliced lemon rind and leave to stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the wine and brandy and heat together but do not boil.                            Serve.
